All Saints Old Buckenham

Our main Sunday service is at 9.30am, though we have a BCP Communion on the first sunday of each month at 8am and first Tuesday of each month at 10am. Future events are to be found in the calendar pages or on the 'What's New' column on the Home page here :-)

General stuff: Old Buckenham is a lively village with a population of about 1400.  We are fortunate to have a large Primary school and High School, which serves the rural community around the Quidenham Group.  All Saints church, situated on the edge of the large village green, is of Saxon origin and has one of the few remaining thatched roofs in the country. The building has recently undergone major refurbishment. The Victorian church rooms, once the village school, are used regularly for church and village activities. All Saints’ is a church where people of all ages; families, couples and singles; those brought up in the village and recent arrivals; those new to worship and those for whom the church has always been part of their lives, are welcomed and feel at home.  Our worship largely follows the set liturgy but we aim for a relaxed and flexible approach, involving as many people as possible.  We have a small Sunday School, which meets during the service, rejoining worship for the Eucharist. We are a diverse group of people, who enjoy meeting together for worship and coffee, social events and bible study, managing to pay our parish share and keep the roof on!
